Now Hiring: Pesticide Spray Applicator (Full-Time, Seasonal)

Location: Brandon, MB

We’re looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented Pesticide Spray Applicator to join our Grounds Maintenance team. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in high‑quality workmanship, and want to be part of a company that values professionalism and reliability, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our maintenance crew, you’ll be responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and efficient application services to both residential and commercial clients. Your day-to-day work will include:
Pesticide & Fertilizer Application

  • Completing fertilizer and pesticide work orders with precision
  • Applying herbicides (including Roundup), granular fertilizers, and other treatments
  • Ensuring proper coverage, compliance, and quality on every job
  • Maintaining a valid Pesticide Applicator License (or working toward one)

Customer Service & Professionalism

  • Communicating clearly and courteously with clients
  • Building trust through reliability and excellent service
  • Offering observations or recommendations when appropriate
Equipment & Inventory Care

  • Operating and maintaining spray equipment, spreaders, and tools
  • Monitoring inventory and requesting supplies before they run low
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assisting with property inspections and documentation
  • Supporting topdressing, sod installation, and water hauling
  • Participating in winter snow removal operations
  • Following all company safety policies and procedures

What You Bring

Physical Ability

  • Comfortable with climbing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and repetitive motion
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Education & Experience

  • Valid Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid MB Class 5F driver’s license (Class 3 with Air Brake is an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pesticide application or related field
  • Landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is a strong asset

Compensation

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
