Livingstone Landscaping Ltd. Careers
Sales Representative
Description
Sales Representative — Grounds, Enhancements, and Snow & Ice
If you like the chase of a good conversation, the satisfaction of a signed contract, and the feeling of a client who calls you first, this is the seat. This role sits at the centre of our contracted work: grounds maintenance, garden and spray, enhancements, and snow and ice. You are the person clients know by name. You own the relationship, the paperwork, and the handoff to the crew — and you grow the book while you do it.
Landscaping experience is welcome. A love of sales and the appetite to learn the rest are required.
What you will actually do
- You are the primary contact for assigned commercial and condo accounts. Phone, email, text, or on-site — you answer, you follow through, and you write it down.
- You build estimates for smaller enhancement jobs, price contracts and work orders, and get them approved before they ever reach the customer. Day-to-day work lives in LMN. Accuracy is not a nice-to-have; it is how we get paid and how crews know what they are walking into.
- You support our field sales team on proposals, tenders, portals, and renewals, then stay with the work until it is in production. Specs, preferences, materials, and site conditions go to the crew before the job starts — not after something goes sideways.
- You look for the next piece of work the property actually needs. A renewal is not the finish line. Seasonal snow and ice outreach, upgrades, and enhancements are how the portfolio grows.
- You walk properties, catch problems before the client does, and say so when a job is off budget, schedule, or scope.
Who will love this
- You write clearly, present without fluff, and can juggle a dozen unrelated priorities without dropping the one that matters today.
- You are upbeat, profit-minded, and comfortable leading by example. You solve the small thing before it becomes the client’s problem. You like people, and you like closing.
- Plant knowledge matters here — you will use it for inventory and ordering. If you do not yet know LMN (golmn.com), we will teach you; if you already do, you will be ahead on day one. Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher) should already feel natural.
- A valid Manitoba Class 5F driver’s licence, or the ability to get one, is required. You will be on sites and at community and industry events that turn into new work.
What you get
- Competitive pay, set to experience, plus an incentive structure tied to the work you sell and keep.
- Company Wellness program
A team that has been at this for more than 30 years, real ownership of your accounts, and room to get sharp at commercial pricing, seasonal contracts, and client leadership. We will train the right person on the industry. We cannot train someone to care whether the client renews.
Compensation
$19.00 - $35.00 per hour
