Got skills behind the wheel of a skid steer, loader, ag tractor, plow truck, or dump truck? Ready to turn your winter downtime into extra income? Livingstone Landscaping Ltd. is hiring Snow Removal Equipment Operators & Drivers to help us tackle snow events and keep our city moving!
This casual, on-call position is ideal for individuals who have been laid off for the season, are working part-time, or wish to supplement their hours during Manitoba’s snowy months. When the snow hits 1 inch or more, we hit the road. Are you in?
What You’ll Be Operating:
- Skid Steers
- Loaders
- Agricultural Tractors
- Dump Trucks
- Plow Trucks
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Respond to call-ins during snow events
- Safely operate equipment to clear driveways, parking lots, and haul snow off-site
- Navigate residential areas with care—watch for cars, pedestrians, and homes
- Complete pre-trip inspections and route paperwork
- Maintain equipment and trucks to company standards
- Park equipment and trucks with precision (yes, that includes backing in!)
- Communicate clearly and ask questions when needed
- Work as part of a reliable, hardworking team
- Perform quality work with great attention to detail
- Take on other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 5F Driver’s License (required)
- Class 3A License (a big plus!)
- Proven experience operating any of the listed equipment
- Ability to pass a practical test of equipment operation/driving
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Strong team player with solid communication skills
